Want to teach the alphabet and at the same time introduce your child to worldliness and other cultures? If so, this colourful book's for you...

POSITIVE THINKING:
From 'A is for Africa' to 'Z is for Zebra', the friendly character in the book; Bella, takes young readers on a journey around the globe, travelling the world, finding exotic fruits, new countries and amazing animals, all the while learning the alphabet.
This book is suitable for families literally everywhere!
I love that this book offers an alternative to the norm.
That it is complimented by beautiful bold images.
And particularly, that learning a multi cultural alphabet is not only fun, but encourages questions and opens up the learning experience.

KEEP IN MIND:
This book is not out until next month.

LIFE AS IT IS BLOG - THE VERDICT:
Working as a voluntary tutor for children aged 4+ in her local community in North London, author Lorraine O'Garro was inspired to create Bella after noticing how few black, mixed race and ethnic minority characters featured in books for young children. This book not only offers an alternative to the norm, but reading, and knowledge, has never been so much fun, encouraging cultural debate and strengthening learning.

Emma Oliver and the GraceFaith blog girls received a copy of ABC with Bella in exchange for a review on the parenting/lifestyle blog LIFE AS IT IS.
